Meet the Officers and Faculty Advisors

Emily Lentsch, President

Emily Lentsch is a second-year Forensic Science graduate student at UCO. She holds bachelor of science degrees in Anthropology and Forensic Crime Scene Investigations, with minors in Chemistry and Criminology.

As president of Cold Case Central, she is dedicated to applying forensic science to unsolved cases and fostering student engagement. Emily is also involved in the Student Academy of Forensic Science and Delta Delta Epsilon Honors Society. Her research titled, “Investigating Without a Badge: How Civilian Detectives Influence Forensic Science and Law Enforcement” focuses on bridging the gap between wedsleuths, Reddit users, internet detectives - and law enforcement agencies.

In her free time, she spends it hanging out with her dog Indigo and listening to Taylor Swift.

Allie Santos, Vice President

Allie Santos is a third-year undergraduate student at UCO pursuing degrees in Forensic Science and Biology. Her areas of interest are Medicolegal Death Investigations and Forensic Anthropology.

At UCO, she is the Vice President for Cold Case Central and the Treasurer for Tri-Beta Biology Club and Honor Society.

Passionate about creativity and connection, she enjoys exploring new ideas through art, music, and storytelling. She loves finding inspiration in different forms and always seek opportunities to learn and grow.

Rebecca Bedijn, Treasurer

Rebecca Bedijn is a second-year Forensic Science graduate student at UCO. Originally from The Netherlands and with a BAcc from Scotland, she is a member of our international student body. Her research focuses on criminal activity in the art world, covering things like forgery, money laundering and organized crime groups.

At UCO she is the Treasurer for both Cold Case Central and Delta Delta Epsilon, our honour's society. She also works as a teaching assistant in the faculty office and can be spotted in classes throughout the semester.

In her free time, she can be found building flat pack furniture for her friends, or exploring Oklahomas state parks.

Alyssa Wiley, Secretary

Alyssa Wiley is a senior Forensic Investigations student at UCO. She holds a Master's degree in Global Studies and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with minors in International Security Studies and Russian and Eastern European Studies. Her research focused on human trafficking, atrocity crimes, and human rights.

At UCO, she is the Secretary of Cold Case Central and a member of Delta Delta Epsilon Honors Society. She is also a Crime Scene Unit Intern at the Oklahoma City Police Department.

In her free time, she enjoys woodworking and hanging out with her dogs.

Faculty Advisors

Meagan Raddatz

Meagan Raddatz is a former crime laboratory director and technical investigator for the Midwest City Police Department. As a technical investigator, Raddatz’s primary responsibilities included the forensic investigation of major and complex minor crime scenes. Her duties included crime scene and evidence preservation and documentation, as well as the scientific analysis of evidence with an emphasis on forensic photography and bloodstain pattern analysis. While in the role of laboratory director, Raddatz oversaw the police department’s Crime Laboratory Unit, as well as the Property and Evidence Division. Raddatz became a Certified Crime Scene Investigator through the International Association for Identification in 2013. Prior to working as a CSI, Raddatz conducted field background investigations as a credentialed federal contractor.
