The story begins in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. Led by Eugenia Tucker Fitzgerald, our founders formed The Adelphean Society for “the mental, moral, social, and domestic improvement of its members.” The Adelphean Society, later renamed Alpha Delta Pi, was the first secret society for college women. The principles of scholarship, leadership, sisterhood, and service guide over 215,000 women in more than 140 active collegiate chapters and over 150 alumnae associates of Alpha Delta Pi. Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has been committed to serving Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). RMHC provides a home away from home for families with seriously ill or injured children by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility. As Alpha Delta Pi’s, we spend our time and energy volunteering at our local Ronald McDonald House in Oklahoma City, as well as being leaders on campus in several organizations on and around campus. We are dedicated to the fulfillment of our academic achievements set forth by our founders.

Alpha Gamma Delta is an international fraternity for women that exists to provide opportunities for personal development through the spirit of sisterhood. We support lifelong learning as a means to gain understanding and wisdom. We promote the value of fraternal membership and commitment to higher education. We help prepare members to contribute to the worlds work. We advocate lifetime involvement in Alpha Gamma Delta. Joining a sorority is an exciting and life changing event! Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (ΑΦΑ) is the first African-American, intercollegiate Greek-lettered fraternity. It was initially a literary and social studies club organized in the 1905–1906 school year at Cornell University but later evolved into a fraternity with a founding date of December 4, 1906, at Cornell. It employs an icon from Ancient Egypt, the Great Sphinx of Giza, as its symbol. Its aims are "Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love For All Mankind," and its motto is "First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All."
The Zeta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha was chartered on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma on November 3, 1969. The Zeta Sigma Chapter was recharted on the campus of Oklahoma City University on October 15, 2016
