The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma Student Organization will plan events to enrich the personal and professional lives of our students and help promote ACM@UCO to aid in recruitment efforts and general awareness of the school. We strive to work with both students and non-students alike in an effort to foster a sense of community.

We are a student-led co-ed a cappella group that rehearses as an ensemble once a week and finds opportunities to perform. We perform multiple times per year on campus. Our repertoire consists primarily of pop music. We provide free concerts to the UCO/Edmond community.

The Archaeology Society of the University of Central Oklahoma is a student organization with the purpose of promoting the field of archaeology. The Society will provide an opportunity to expose students interested in archaeology to research relevant to their interests and various majors. The primary focus of the Society is to promote student research and education in the field of archaeology. The Archaeology Society will hold bimonthly meetings with presentations and workshops given either by UCO faculty, off-campus guest speakers, or by the Society's students themselves. The Society will also plan field trips to local Oklahoma archaeology sites.

The mission/purpose of the UCO-ABJ is to bring together Oklahoma City-area Black journalists dedicated to truth and excellence in newsgathering and reporting, and equality in the media industry. To interact and collaborate with fellow student chapters in journalism-related matters. To establish a strong union among black students pursuing degrees in journalism at the University of Central Oklahoma. To exchange ideas and information with people and organizations concerned with people of color in the media. To critique the media's portrayals of minorities in their respective presentations. To work with local high schools to identify potential journalists, encourage their enrollment at the University of Central Oklahoma or other institutions with strong journalism programs, and teach them the benefits of the NABJ.

The Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE) and its affiliated colleges, universities, and nontraditional students share a focus on providing key resources, research, and support for faculty and adult students at colleges and universities across the country. ANTSHE believes that adult learners reach a higher level of success and completion of their degree programs when they have the support of faculty, administrators, advisors, and other members of their informal support network (i.e., friends, family, colleagues, etc.). As a part of the informal support network, ANTSHE's leadership works with administrators, advisors, faculty and other leaders in higher education to address key factors involving nontraditional students, providing support for these networks to help them to be able to better support adult learners at their colleges and universities.
