About Us

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans. The UCO chapter is geared toward students coming together to discuss important issues that impact our youth and community of today, tomorrow, and the future. Our chapter focuses on topics such as health care, politics, employment and education. This organization is NOT limited to people of a particular race, ethnicity, or color. All are welcomed to join!
