To advocate, educate, and celebrate black culture on campus. The fundamental purpose of this organization shall be to encourage the mutual bond among students of African descent and help engender cultural bridges that reach out to students of other racial ethnic heritages who share the common pursuit of the Black Student Association.
Gaining a sense of community engagement. The Black Student Association at the University of Central Oklahoma is an organization managed by Black students committed to the advancement of the black community and educating others of our culture.
