About Us

The mission of the Nepal Student Association (NSA) at the University of Central Oklahoma is to represent and support Nepali students while promoting and celebrating Nepali culture, traditions, and heritage within the UCO and Oklahoma City communities. NSA welcomes students of all backgrounds and strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can connect, learn about Nepali culture, participate in campus activities, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships. Through cultural, social, and educational activities, NSA aims to bring people together, celebrate diversity, support the Nepali community, and share the richness of Nepali culture with the broader community. We share, we care, and we grow together!

Being a member of the Nepali Student Association allows students to meet new people, build friendships, and become part of a supportive community. Members have opportunities to learn about Nepali culture and traditions through cultural, social, and educational events throughout the year. NSA also helps students develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills through active involvement. Most importantly, NSA strives to create a welcoming environment that feels like a home away from home, where students can share and celebrate their cultures, embrace diversity, support one another, and build meaningful connections at UCO.
