About Us

The Society is dedicated to understanding the phenomenon of dreams and the ability to gain awareness within them. Its purpose is to provide UCO students with an academic forum in which they can explore topics within the field of dreams, as well as provide resources and discussion that equips students with the ability to lucid dream. Through a synthesis and combination of the various branches of psychology, philosophy, and other disciplines, students are able to incorporate what they have learned into an interdisciplinary and multicultural picture of the dream world. The end goal is not only to achieve awareness in a dream state, but to attain an elevated form of consciousness in the waking state, and to use lucid dreaming as a medium in which students may learn how to confront problems, creative problem solve, relieve stress, improve memory, improve sleeping habits, and prevent stultification of the college mind.
