This is Eric DeBord - the Coordinator of the Office of Retention & Outreach.
This page is for ARIS (Association of Retention Initative Students). This includes the student success initiatives, which are UCO-supported peer mentorship groups designed to help students find community, gain leadership skills & build core academic success. ARIS is the title of the "big group", while I have listed the expected active initiatives below (but if you are interested in starting a new one, let me know!):

- Central Transfer Students (CTS)
- First Gen Bronchos (FGB)
- Hispanic Success Initiative (HSI)
- Native American Success Initiative (NASI)
This UCORE page is currently under renovation to prepare for the start of the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year. A few things that are happening on here:
- Roles are being updated. Some of the language used on this page is different that what we usually use otherwise, so I am updating the role titled to be more in-line with our plans for the Fall.
- Staff are being upgraded to officer positions. We know a lot of our staff partners have varying levels of engagement
- New onboaring & welcome emails, messages, workflows are being set up. When new students join, they will receive a better welcome to the group.
- Monthly newsletters! Bimonthly newsletters will be posted on here, as well as sent out via email & in link in Discord.
