Student Organization Re-Registration
Hello!
It is that time of year again — Student Organization Re-Registration is NOW OPEN!
Student Organization Re-Registration is REQUIRED for all student organizations for the upcoming academic year.
In order to get your organization approved, please be sure to complete the following steps. Any organization that would like to be an approved and active organization on UCO's campus for the 2025–2026 school year will need to complete the following:
Registration To-Do List
-
Registration – Student Organization Presidents or Executive Directors are responsible for re-registering their organization.
-
Ensure Constitution Has All Required Fields – Constitutions must be dated within the last three years (2022, 2023, or 2024), include a purpose/mission statement explaining the organization's existence at UCO, outline membership requirements, and include any other details the organization deems important for students reviewing the organization.
-
Clean Up Your Membership Rosters – Make sure your rosters are up-to-date and accurate when submitting registration. Rosters must include the current President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Financial Manager. You may add other roles as needed, but these four are required.
-
Complete UCORE Training – UCORE is used in day-to-day student organization operations. At least three officers and the advisor/Financial Manager must complete UCORE training every year for successful operations.
-
Once the Student Organization President or ED registers the organization, officers will then have the opportunity to complete "My Checklist" on the left-hand side of the screen. This is where organization officers complete UCORE training.
-
In your checklist, you can “self-check” re-registration — if you’ve reached the checklist step, your President has already started the registration process.
-
OPTIONAL – Register for the Student Involvement Fair (SIF) – Once your organization has completed registration, only one member needs to sign up for the SIF.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do I need to complete UCORE training for every organization I’m involved in?
No. You only need to complete UCORE training once.
-
Why is my checklist only showing 50%?
That’s because you didn’t complete the registration yourself — and that’s okay! If you completed your UCORE training, you’re good to go.
-
How do I know if my President/ED registered my organization?
Check your email. If you received a notification about a “checklist,” your President/ED has started the registration process.
-
I completed training last year. Do I need to do it again?
Yes! Training has been updated this year and is designed to better support your organization’s success.
-
Do I need to attend both online and in-person training?
No. You only need to complete UCORE training once. We’re offering both formats based on your preference. If you have questions, the in-person option is more in-depth and may provide a better understanding of UCORE.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to se@uco.edu.
