Details

Adult Mental Health First Aid teaches adults to offer the first level of support to other adults who may be facing a mental health or substance use challenge. By the end of this training, participants will be able to: Evaluate the impact of early intervention on mental health and substance use challenges; Apply the appropriate steps of the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE) to noncrisis and crisis scenarios in which a person shows signs of mental health or substance use challenges; Choose appropriate methods for self-care following the application of MHFA in a noncrisis or crisis situation.
