About Us
The UCO Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (UCO-SPS) is in Zone 12 of the Society of Physics Students (SPS), a national organization and a member of Sigma Pi Sigma Honor Society. The purpose of UCO-SPS is the advancement and diffusion of knowledge of physics, the encouragement of interest in physics throughout the academic and local communities, and the introduction of students to the professional community. Membership in UCO-SPS is open to all individuals interested in physics.
