UCO SJP GENERAL BODY MEETING TOMORROW

General Body Meeting

Hi, this is UCO Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), we'd love to invite you to our first general body meeting of the semester, happening tomorrow at 5:30 PM in the Liberal Arts Building, Room 263.

Over the summer, we researched UCO’s endowment fund and discovered that our university is investing in weapons manufacturing, surveillance, oil and gas, and other companies that are contributing to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. At this meeting, we’ll be sharing that information and discussing our plans with you all to launch a divestment campaign here at UCO!

We are living in a pivotal moment in history. As the US continues to fund the genocide in Gaza and our university remains complicit through financial ties, it is more important than ever for students to come together and take action. History shows us through the South African Anti-Apartheid Movement and the U.S. Civil Rights Movement that students have the power to ignite the fight for liberation. We hope you can join us!
