You are receiving this email because you are currently registered as a Central Pantry client, have been a client in the last few years, or are signed up to receive Broncho Bites notifications.
We wanted to send out some information to all of you in light of the current government shut down and suspension on SNAP Benefits recognizing that you might be experiencing an added level of need for food resources and other resources during this time. There are a few things we wanted to send your way and ask for some help from you in letting us know where you stand currently so that we can better request donations (food and monetary) from our surrounding community.
Optional Check-In Surveys
Please fill out this quick survey to let us know if you have been affected by the current government shut down. This survey is fully anonymous and being used to grab a pulse check on how many UCO students/employees and Central Pantry clients are experiencing affects of the government shut down and changes to their ability to get food. We will use the overall data to talk with possible donors to make sure we can keep our shelves as stocked as possible.
If you would like to share more about how the Central Pantry has assisted you on campus during your time at UCO, please use the link below. Sharing your stories helps us show donors how their contribution is able to impact people. If you have anything you would like to share, you can choose to remain anonymous or have your name tied to it. If you ahve any questions about how your story will be used, please don't hesitate to ask by emailing centralpantry@uco.edu.
On-Campus Resources
Central Pantry
Hopefully most of you know about and are using the Central Pantry as a food resource on campus. If not, or if you know someone that needs to start shopping with us, please fill out this Client Registration Form and start visiting us once a week. While we do only have supplemental items, we are working hard to keep the shelves stocked with these items, so you do not need as much at the grocery store. We are open across two locations on campus (Nigh University Center and Wellness Center) for at least 40 hours each week. If these hours do not work for you, there is an option to request a Locker Pick-Up Order.
Student Parent Pantry
For any of you that have children, we do have a Student Parent Pantry located in the Student Involvement Center (NUC 141) that is available from Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. We have a large selection of diapers (size 1-4) and a variety of baby, toddler, and child foods and supplies. This is based on donation, so it is not a guarantee that everything will be available, but let us know if there is a diaper size you are looking for by emailing centralpantry@uco.edu.
Broncho Bites
The Broncho Bites fridge (located outside of the NUC Central Pantry) is stocked almsot daily with food from Ayers Kitchen. If you are not signed up for notifications, you can do so at anytime on UCORE.

The Community Closet boasts a variety of free and inclusive clothing options available for free to UCO students and the wider metro area. It is open from 10am-6pm, Monday-Thursday, and 9am-5pm, Friday, at The Center in Thatcher Hall, Room 106.
