Update: Indra Jatra Celebration Postponed - Candlelight Vigil Tonight

I hope this message finds you well.

Due to the current situation in Nepal, we have decided to postpone our Indra Jatra celebration that was originally scheduled for today. In place of the celebration, we will be holding a "Candlelight Vigil" to honor and stand in solidarity with everyone affected back home.

Time:7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location:Blue Tent, Broncho Lake, UCO Campus

The event is planned for after office hours so that graduates and those in Edmond can also join us.

Even though we are far from home, our hearts remain with Nepal and our people. Let’s come together as a community and show our collective strength and support during this difficult time.

Please Note:
We cannot use real candles at UCO. The university requires battery-operated candles for safety reasons. Since many of us are students, you are not expected to purchase one we will make arrangements and provide them for the event.
