About Us

The purpose for the English Graduate Organization (EGO) is to allow English graduate students a space to meet and share their experiences as graduate students promoting scholarly collaboration, while also facilitating networking opportunities between peers and faculty. This collective endeavor aims to advance the interests of MA students across various disciplines within English, including Literature, Teaching English as a Second Language, Creative Writing, and Composition and Rhetoric. Through our collective efforts, we seek to uphold the values of scholarship and service in a professional way contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the enrichment of the academic experience within our department.
