Downtown Edmond Alleyway Activation Project
The City of Edmond has partnered with the OU Institute for Quality Communities to create a temporary pedestrian space in the Oschner Drive alleyway in Downtown Edmond. This program is designed to showcase how a permanent pedestrian corridor like this could benefit businesses in the area and contribute to the overall Downtown experience. Our plans include closing the alley to vehicular traffic, painting the surface of the alley, and adding art, lighting, pop up shops, seating areas, and other exciting activites to the alley. But we need your help to pull it off!
Volunteer on Sunday, May 30th or Thursday, June 30th to help paint the surface of the alleyway, set-up and take down event supplies and road barriers, help direct traffic, and much more.

UCO Endeavor Games Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities now are available for the 22nd annual UCO Endeavor Games, June 10-13.
Sport-specific shifts include track and field, swimming, air rifle shooting and more. Other shifts include van driving, welcome party and the athlete banquet.

Central Pantry Summer Volunteers
Volunteering for the Central Pantry is a great way to volunteer on-campus and assist our community here at UCO while you are in Edmond this summer!
The Central Pantry is open this summer Monday through Thursday from 10:00am - 4:00pm and we are looking for volunteers to help run the front desk, check -in and assist clients, and help with the intake and restocking of donations.

SMO Summer Volunteer Opportunties
Exciting things are afoot at Science Museum Oklahoma and we have multiple volunteer opportunities that will truly impact our visitor experience. The new traveling exhibit, Sherlock Holmes – The Exhibition, will be hosted at SMO from May 1 – September 6, 2021. This highly immersive and very interactive large exhibition has many opportunities for volunteers to encourage questioning, help deduce evidence, and guide our guests to solving a mysterious crime. Shifts are available every day of the week, in four and eight hour blocks, with preference given to volunteers who can come on a regular schedule. Period costuming that meets general dress code requirements is highly encouraged. Limited props and costuming will be available.

Oklahoma Memorial Marathon Volunteer Registration
Volunteers like YOU are the lifeblood of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, and we invite you to join us in demonstrating the Oklahoma Standard by Showing Up to Serve this October 1-3.
