Alternative Breaks seeks to increase community engagement experiences for UCO students through a focus on social issues on a local and national scale. This level of community engagement will be achieved through the offering of fall, spring, and weekend Break experiences. Alternative Breaks will further UCO's mission of creating ethical and engaged citizens and leaders.

Join us as we look to build active citizens through transformative experiences!

Alternative Weekend Overview:

During this service-focused day, we will be volunteering at City Rescue Mission. We will be helping with their lunch meal service by preparing, serving, and cleaning up a delicious meal for their wonderful clients.

Responsibilities:
Preparing food
Serving food to clients
Meal clean-up
